Here’s one of the new saucy Agent Provocateur ads featuring Maggie Gyllenhaal. I love that they chose such a cool and confident woman to hawk their amazing lingerie, but that’s to be expected from a company that was co-founded by the child of the svengalis of Punk, Vivienne Westwood and Malcom Mclaren.
The other founder Serena Reese says they picked Gyllenhaal specifically because of her powerful persona, telling the The Telegraph, “She is a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman. She is confident and in charge of her own sexuality, and this makes her appealing to both men and women.”
Oh, and interestingly, one of the ads includes a very glamorous turban-wearing Gyllehaal. Will this give the failed trend new life? One wonders.
