I’m not always against celebrity fashion lines. For instance, I like Gwen’s L.A.M.B. offerings, and I’ve even caught myself admiring a Jessica Simpson item or two before I realized what was happening. Sarah Jessica Parker´s shabby Bitten line, however, is a different story.
While I’m not a subscriber to the Carrie Bradshaw cult, everyone was making such a big deal about Bitten that I, too, got caught up in the hoopla and was interested to see what SJP had up her sleeve. Yet what I saw was a disappointing collection of obviously cheap, super boring basics that I don’t think SJP would bother wearing if she didn’t stand to make a profit.
None of the Bitten pieces cost over $19.98, and it shows. The draping is awful and unflattering unless you’re a rail — one curve will leave you looking bumpy and lumpy in these colorless outfits, which is unfortunate since the line goes up to size 22. A refreshing move if the clothes were well-tailored.
And where is any evidence of the quirky fashion sense that the Sex in the City star is so famous for? I mean, who wants a pair of gray drawstring elastic-bottom pants and cheap tees? Where’s the point of view? What´s the point of view? I can’t figure it out. Blah.
If you’re so incline, see Bitten line here.

Hi!
I live in Melbourne Australia, am I able to buy these great fashions on line
Thanks
Kylie
I don’t think the Bitten clothing line is as bad as stated above. I think you are getting what you are paying for and when everything is under $19.98 how can you complain.
The one comment asks if they can buy Bitten online, currently Steve & Barry’s is not selling it online but they plan to soon. They are saying that the demand is too high currently for them to keep up with online sales.
I am extremely picky about how clothes fit me – I’m a size 12 with a 38DD bust. I spent about $200.00 at Steve and Barry’s when they were having their winter liquidation sale.
Her sweaters don’t cling to me, but still give me curves. Her jeans don’t hang off me and they’re in dark washes. EVERYTHING matches, making it easier in the morning. I personally love her skinny leg chinos – I got a pair in both navy and olive green. They’re so comfortable and look really awesome.
We’ll see how everything holds up in the next couple of months, but so far I’m impressed. I wish I had a Steve and Barry’s near me.
Ditto to Steph’s comment. Overall I really love the line, especially the jeans that actually fit women with a little junk in the trunk. And the kicker is her jeans look just as good on me ( a size 12) as they do on my best friend who wears a size 22! The look on her face when she put on a pair of affordable SKINNY jeans that fit her was priceless:)
