These so-called “Jeans-Bikini Pants” are BIG in Brazil right now and, according to myfashionlife, they’re really taking off in Japan. Scary.
These pants are so wrong that it almost seems redundant to explain why they’re so disgusting. I think they might be a throw back to Britney Spear’s “Slave 4 U” video, when she wore the pink panties outside her hipster jeans.
Aside from being grotesque, they are also completely impractical–how easy would it be for one of those side bows to come undone? And it’s not like you can wear underwear with them. Eek!
I really, really, really hope that these do not catch on in America, but I fear they will. If Lindsey Lohan or Paris Hilton shows up somewhere wearing these, that’ll be the end of it. Suddenly, middle-schoolers everywhere will be wearing them. I don’t even want to think about it.
