Spring is right around the corner.  The air will be warmer, and the sun will be brighter.  It will be a nice time to get our yards in order and spruce up our garden spaces.  That’s what we naturally think we spring rolls around…the season.  Your skin may also be in need of a little TLC, so don’t neglect it.  A new product has arrived to help you combat those skin problems that never seem to fade away.  Spruce up your skin with Bio-Oil.   Bio-Oil is a skincare product that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, uneven skin stone, aging skin, and dehydrated skin.  Now who of us doesn’t need help with at least one of these problems, if not two or three?  Bio-Oil is an advanced formula that contains PurCellin Oil, which aids in the highly effectiveness of the product. This spring,  don’t step into your bikini without first trying this great product!  Has anyone used this special formula?  If so, with what results?

    Sun Smarts: Moisturize with SPF

The best investment you can make this summer is buying moisturizer with SPF. Everyone knows by now that sun damage causes wrinkles, other skin damage and, more importantly, cancer, but still the majority of women and men (last I checked, those of the male persuasion weren’t immune to skin cancer) go around with zero protection. A big reason for the oversight is just plain old forgetfulness, which is why I’m a proponent of moisturizer with SPF. Most of us use moisturizer anyway, so why not just replace your usual lotion with one that includes sun protecting ingredients?

My trick is to put it on about 15 minutes before the rest of my makeup–slap it on, eat your breakfast, then come back and continue the rest of your regimen. Easy as pie.

    These all have SPF 15:

    PH Advantage Basics, $45

La Roche Posay Anthelios, SX Daily Moisturizer, $29

Alba Advanced Sea Moss Moisturizer, $8.97

DermaNew Day Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin, $42
