Sephora’s OPI nail polish color is only $9 and a fun, flirty look for the upcoming season. Now that fashion week in NY is over, we’ve found that the 80s are making a come back in hair style and makeup. These bright new colors will add to the big hair style that’s in season now.  This six piece set is perfect for doing your own nails and still looking fabulous. Who says you need to drop $10-$20 to get your nails done. Spend only $9 to get each color and you can change colors whenever you want–they have roughly 54 colors! You can’t go wrong with bright colors–it’s almost a mood lifter.

The best part of this collection is that they’re high powered in shine. You’ll definitely get a compliment or two. The colors long lasting so you don’t have to worry about the paint chipping away. These colors are fun and flirty–a great statement during this back-to-school season.

So brush on this smooth and easy to apply nail polish and make a statement about you!

    Huge Sale on Smashbox Eyeshadow

Posted September 11, 2009 by ritika
    Found in: Makeup & Cosmetics

Right now, Sephora is having a major discount on selected Smashbox eyeshadow. This is a top of the line product and the dual colored eyeshadow is typically worth $25, but Sephora’s offering a mark down for only $5. Amazing. It’s a dark brown and light brown complimentary duo that’s perfect to create darker eyes.

The best way to apply this eyeshadow is  to first apply the lighter shade to the corners of your eyes as well as the area right below your eyebrow. This will accentuate the darkness of the rest of your eyes and make them look bigger as well. Next, apply the darker shade in the creases of your eyelids, but make sure you blend the outer corners of your eyes so that there’s not dark brown line visible. This method will create a dramatic, smokey eye effect.

If this isn’t a color that you prefer–there’s also this eye shadow quad by PlantLove you can get that’s originally priced at $25, but is now on sale for only $5. You can choose from four fun colors, which are all a little earthy-toned so it won’t look to overdone. These colors won’t exactly work for smokey eyes, but you can sweep one of the four colors across your lids for extra shimmer to light up your eyes. These deals are great!

Moisturizers that Work on Sensitive, Rosacea-Prone Skin

Recently I switched moisturizers. My skin acted a little puzzled at first and now it’s not behaving. Not that it’s throwing a tantrum. It’s just, well, sort of indifferent. I had splurged on a more expensive French line (that will remain nameless) and the cheaper brand that I usually buy at my local drugstore is far superior. So I’m switching back.

    Eucerin Co-Enzyme 10

What is that moisturizer? Why, it’s Eucerin Coenzyme 10, of course! (Nivea Coenzyme 10 cream is great too). Coenzyme 10 is a powerful antioxidant that protects you from those pesky free radicals. It’s also a compound that is made naturally in the body. The body uses it for cell growth and also to protect cells from damage that could lead to cancer. As you age, your levels of this compound decrease. So it’s beneficial to your skin to apply it. When I used it, I would wake up to smooth, even-toned skin. My sensitive, rosacea-prone skin just drank it up.

    Korres Rose Cream - Sephora

I’m also really missing Korres Rose Cream. I adore the smell and it gave my skin an even-ness that I really want back. If you find Korres a bit pricey, then buy the sample kit which includes the serum, the cream and the mask. All for $30 at Sephora.

I also received an email from DHC, a Japanese skin-care line that sells gentle, good-for-you skin products. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE their coenzyme 10 cream. I received a sample of it and literally, overnight, my skin looked phenomenal. Enough so that my boyfriend commented that my skin looked beautiful that morning. So can you believe that they are selling a great travel kit that includes their best selling olive soap, Coenzyme 10 cream, milk, and spray for $24.00? Oh my lord, I whipped out my credit card so fast, that Clint wouldn’t have had anything on me. Get on that, ladies!
