I have also used Maybelline liquid eyeliner, which works too. I've tried all the expensive or mid-priced brands, and sure they have great products. It's sick to say, but the best eye brands for the price right now are HIP and the Maybelline - and I am getting to the age where I can't wear dark colors any more without looking horrible. Also, I totally think you can do this look. Your eyes and face are gorgeous!! Look at the shape of your eyes and the placement of your pupils and irises. Compare to where her eyebrows come to a peak, and slant, and then extend outward. Your hair is mostly covering your brows in the picture, but it looks like where yours come to a peak is over the inner side of your pupils. Her brows come to a point farther toward the outer corner of her eyes. Try combing or using color to make your brows more in that shape, and extend them toward your temples, and see if that look is something you like.
