Red Lipstick- Learn how to Rock the Look with Stila

Red Lipstick - Discount Cosmetics - Stila Cosmetics

Honestly, not everyone can pull off rockstar red lips. It’s sad but true, you need to exude a certain amount of moxy to do the look justice. For example the following celebrities showcase perfect examples of “Bangin’ Red Lip Action”.

Celebrity Red Lips - Angelina Jolie, Beyonce & Charlize Theron

Plus another key detail with red lips is that not all shades of red works for all girls. For example the orange based ones that look awesome on a Beyonce girl look horrible on me. I lean towards deeper shades like the one on Charlize Theron.  However I am careful not to crash the chola line, going too dark on the red lipstick starts to classify you as goth or gangsta! :)

Well I think Stila has come up with a nifty little invention. Their “Paint your Pout Red” palette features a lip smoother, three shades of red lip color and lip brush. Pretty much providing you the tools you need to create your perfect red lip—but if you’re still at a loss, simply push a button and a Stila makeup artist will talk you through the application steps for the look you’re craving.

    Price - $60

I think it would be an awesome beginner’s introduction to the realm of red lips! You can mix the provided shades into the perfect shade for your skin tone.

I think when u mix lipstick colors sometimes u get mud. I used to do that. I hear marilyn Monroe mixed her lipsticks. I use a color called runway red. it’s a perfect red i got it at sally beauty supply. It’s not orange or any weird off red it’s red. I love red lipstick. the lipstick angelina, beyonce, and charlize are wearing (god awful) beautiful girls but yuck there lips. I also have a new red by Elizabeth Arden her lipsticks rock too they stay on and moisturize too amazing.

Nothing is dearer to my heart than a classic red lip stick. So of course I was ecstatic to see this subject ; ) Over the years I have tried every red I could find from Revlon to Mac until one day I came across Besame cosmetics! What a wonderful red lovers day that was if you wear this shade or or daring to try it this is a must have. They have pigment rich, non drying, vintage colored reds. Enjoy all the looks you’ll be getting when wearing these.

I have what I call a “fire-cracker” red - it is YSL “Rouge Personnel” (the kind w/the black cap), #14.

    I LOVE YSL!! :D

Anyway - it is a VERY bright red; & I had to get a Revlon nail-polish to go with, but it is a very close match. It was a “Limited Edition Heartthrob Red” - it has glitter to it. The lipstick has a shimmer. They go well together. (The Revlon came out last July for the 4th, so look on eBay if anywhere.)

They are almost vermillion reds - not quite orange-y, but pretty bright. I tend to look better in bluer shades (my skin-tone is just a little bit warm), but I love these for the holidays & in mid-summer with a lipstick-red dress!

I glad to know all of your views. But in my opinion we have to prefer Quality also. Before using any product whether it is lipstick, nailpolish, eyeshadows or anything else. We must assure whether the product is safe or not. Many products results in side effects, dryness and many type of skin diseases. I have a personal experience for this. That’s why now a days I am preferring for natural- cosmetics. You can also try
Couleur Caramel Glossy True Red Pearly Lipstick, Couleur Caramel Rosy Red Pearly Lipstick. This are rocking red shades.

Wow! I’d love to have each one of those ladies wrap those beautiful red lips around my erection. Stroking right now thinking about it.
