    Simplicity’s Drop Side Cribs were recalled by various retailers (Babies R Us, Target, Walmart & more) due to “serious entrapment and suffocation hazard” to infants and toddlers.

    “Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and find an alternative, safe sleeping environment for their baby. Consumers should return the recalled crib to the place of purchase for a refund or store credit. SFCA Inc., of Reading, Pa. is working with retailers to carry out this recall program.”

    “Consumers should stop using the cribs immediately and contact Mother Hubbard’s Cupboards to receive instructions on how to re-install the support brackets to eliminate the hazard.”

    Baby AppleseedBaby Appleseed has recalled Cribs due to “fall hazard.”

    “Consumers should stop using the recalled cribs in the third lowest position, which uses the wooden mattress support, and contact Baby Appleseed to receive a repair kit. Consumers who are currently using the crib with the metal mattress support in the top or middle positions can continue to use the crib in those positions while awaiting a repair kit.”

    Stanley Furniture recalled Cribs due to “entrapment hazard.”

    “Immediately stop using the crib in the middle mattress setting, and adjust it to the low or high setting. Contact Stanley Furniture to determine if the crib is subject to this recall, and if it is, to receive a free replacement crib headboard.”
