Pacific Cycle recalled their children’s trailer bikes because they “can detach from adult bicycle and injure children”.  More familiar brand names are the “Pathfinder”, “Run About” & “Alley Cat”.  

You can check the model number on the lower seat tube of the frame for 12-PF250, 13-SC250, 13-SC350 and M5101, but the affected couplers have welded plates.

I used to love the aisle with “cheap” toys & games at the grocery store.  Far East Brokers have recalled their Fishing Games due to “violation of lead paint standard”.  Consumers should return the game to the place of purchase for a full refund.

This product recall is pretty important considering most busy mothers use their strollers on a daily basis.  Certain Xplory baby strollers have been recalled by the Stokke company due to “front wheel detachment”. 

“A bolt that attaches each front wheel to the stroller can loosen, causing one of the front wheels to fall off, posing a fall hazard to young children.”

Contact Stokke for a free front wheel replacement and stop using stroller immediately.

There is only one recall to report today.  This one is kind of obvious.  Bon-Ton Department Stores Inc. recalled hooded zip-up sweatshirts made under the “Burnside” brand for boys size 8-20.  All you need to do to prevent the “strangulation” is either remove the drawstring on the sweatshirt or return the sweater for a full refund.

Today on this joyous holiday, I regret to inform you that I still feel the need to bring to your attention three toys that were recalled today:

SimplyFun recalls Ribbit Board Games due to “risk of lead exposure.”  This item was sold from March 2007 - October 2007.  Call SimplyFun for a refund and they will give you replacement frogs.  No injuries or incidences reported.

Elite Operations Toys recalled by Toys R’ Us due to “violation of lead paint standard.”  Sold at Toys R’ Us & toysrus.com from July 2007-October 2007.  Return to store for full refund or store credit.  No injuries or incidences reported.

“Ugly Teeth” Party Favors recalled by Amscan Inc. due to “violation of lead paint standard.”  They were sold from January 2006-October.  It seems like it might be too late for this one considering everyone already had their 2006 Halloween parties and most likely already had their 2007 party considering Halloween is during the week this year.  No injuries or incidences were reported.
