It’s Cinco de Mayo! A Mexican holiday that takes place on May 5th each year, which commemorates the day that the Mexican army triumphed over the French army, in an attempt to keep their land and heritage, at the battle of Puebla in 1862. Many people wear costumes or dress in Mexican attire on this day, which is a time for celebration and festivities, so I got to thinking about how much I love those little cotton dresses with bright colors on little girls!
