College hoops fans are probably aware that March Madness is here. No matter your sports knowledge or interest level, supporting your alma mater or favorite school is an absolute blast. What a great excuse to keep up with your college, friends, kids, and more. I didn’t attend a college with a strong athletic presence, but around the office, March Madness is a hot topic.
I never played sports in school, but as a kid, I loved playing on teams to bond with friends and really gain that competitive edge. Not to mention, basketball was a great way for me to get exercise and become coordinated. I can’t throw a baseball for the life of me, and I can’t really run or kick a soccer ball. In any case, I can play hoops…maybe not well, but I can definitely do it!
With so much emphasis on academics, learning, and video games, it’s important that you encourage your kids to learn a sport and get exercise at the earliest age possible. In honor of March Madness and college hoops, check out some baby basketball games at Smarter for a great way to bond with your child and get your toddler healthy and active. Maybe your child will be the next college basketball star!
