Save money and have fun together by making Valentine cards for school. These are great for kids ages four and up. They can be as simple as cutting and pasting strips of paper and ribbon, and can be personalized for each friend. 
It is such fun to start a special day with a special breakfast. Try these heart-shaped Valentine Pancakes with Maple Raspberry sauce. Kids can help with measuring and mixing the ingredients, and they only take about 20 minutes altogether to prepare and cook (depending on how involved the kids are!). They can also be made and frozen up to a month in advance. Yum yum!
