Here’s one that you might not have heard about, and was ACTUALLY played at one of my baby showers:

You pass out a bunch of bubble gum to all the ladies in attendance. They open it up and start chewing until its nice and squishy. (They used ‘Bubble Yum’ bubble gum at my shower). Then, the goal is, to make the cutest “baby sculpture” possible using the bubble gum. Kinda gross hmm? But we played it, I have pictures – you’ll have to trust me, I’m not posting one! These mini works of art are then displayed on paper plates and the expecting Mom judges for a prize!

My fave is the one where you have to draw a baby on top of your head and the baby drawing the mom-to-be likes best WINS!!!!!

I like the one where you have to guess how big the mother’s tummy is…I always WIN!

guessing the length of toilet paper game..

or

melting assorted chocolates into a diaper so it looks like pooh one…

My brother and his wife had a co-ed baby shower, so they came up with a game that the guys could play and actually enjoy. I am not sure if it is played at most baby showers, but they put beer in baby bottles, and then had a race to see which one of the guys could drink all of the beer through the bottle nipple the fastest. All of the guys had a hard time. The winner actually cheated by biting the rubber nipple off!

My favorite of all time is “don’t say baby”. Each guest gets a diaper pin as they arrive to the party. Once everyone shows up, announce to the guests that the game is starting. If a guests hears someone say the word “baby”, they get to take their pin away. You’ll be surprised how hard it is to remember that you’re actually playing a game. Whoever has the most pins when the game is over is the winner.
A great game for a coed shower is the “creative diaper game”. Give all the guys a doll, tissue paper, scotch tape, scissors, and string. Give them about 2 minutes to make a creative diaper from those items. The women can vote on who was the most creative.

I love the hidden word puzzles - full of baby words like “diapers”, “binky”, etc…

(Materials - Gerber’s infant food, pads of paper and pens). Take the labels off of the baby food jars and have the women at the baby shower guess the food (carrots, peas, sweet potato). Most fun to play up to 10 jars of different kinds of foods. If there is a tie, blindfold the women and have them taste one of the jars and guess the right flavor to win their prize.marie

Never Say Baby is definitely my favorite game. I’ve won at two separate baby showers!

I like the game where everyone picks a diaper from a basket and whoever has the diaper with the “poo” in it (mustard) gets a prize. the one where everyone draws a baby with eyes closed is fun too!

I like to play the game where the guest pin the baby’s mouth on the nipple. It’s quite easy just bring some baby magazines and get the playboy centerfold blind fold spin and hope to ge the baby’s mouth on the nipple. This should be played with some kind of class. Do not need the whole body of the centerfold, just the nipples. I is a blast to play!!!!!
