I personally thought this story, found on eFluxmedia.com, was kind of funny. It’s probably because I don’t have a nine-year-old. I’m not a teacher either, but I can only imagine the amount of patience it takes to teach a class full of nine-year-olds. I image this kid maybe looks & acts like a demon just like the child pictured, and this is why the teacher in Oregon lost her cool. She duct taped one of her students to their chair in order to force him to sit down because he refused.
If your kids or any kids you are supervising act up chances are you have at least THOUGHT about doing something like this to them. But, seriously, it’s not the smartest thing to do. She’s been suspended & the mother of the student has contacted a lawyer. I just think of the poor little leg hairs on the child! I mean hopefully the kid was wearing pants because imagine the pain of having to remove DUCT TAPE! Ouch!
