Right now in Southern California it is COLD and RAINY!  What do you do with energetic children who can’t run around outside (but probably want to)?  I was talking with a mother last week and she mentioned that some videos she has her child watch are sort of like “Simon Says’ where they tell kids to “Raise your hands up high to the sky.”  She likes these videos, but is looking for a little bit more exercise for her child especially for those indoor-play-due-to-the-rain days.  I found some great looking exercise videos for children:

Movin’ & Shakin’ for Youngsters

This video is for kids toddler & up.  While they are getting some exercise they will also learn their ABC’s, numbers & colors.

Preschool Aerobic Fun

This video is for all ages.  Denise Austin is known for her fabulous work out videos.  She teaches kids how to work out using elements of hip-hop, sports drills, stretching & yoga. 

Billy Blanks’ Tae Bo Kicks

Kids will learn the same techniques as you have with Billy Blanks famous work out routines combining martial arts & kick boxing.  Billy also gives kids valuable advice on living a healthy lifestyle.
